Teachings

God says, "my people are destroyed from lack of knowledge."--Hosea 4:6

3books.JPG (4879 bytes) If we do not truly know what God's Word says in how we should live in order to please God, then how can we be pleasing to God? We must long for the pure spiritual milk of the Word that we may grow by it. Jesus said if we remain in him we will bear much fruit, but apart from him we can do nothing. Therefore, we must seek first His kingdom and righteousness and all other things will be provided for us. We are given everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and virtue. Please prayerfully consider the following teaching and judge for yourselves what we say. The Word of God is sharper than any double-edged sword and judges the thoughts and intentions of the heart. May God have His way in your life that Christ may be exalted, worshipped and feared among all nations.

The Fear of God:

	What is the Fear of God? - How does a person get the fear of God?
	Should We Fear God? - What are the consequences of not fearing God?

Sin, Repentance and Holiness:

	Are you good? - What makes a person good or bad? Is your life pretty clean? The heart is the primary source of what makes someone good or bad.
	Reformed, Conformed or Transformed - We are to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. We are not to be conformed to the world and it's ways. The Bible clearly states who are God's children and who are not.
	You Might Not Go to Jail - Staying out of jail on earth doesn't mean you are right with God. There are many sins that will not land you in jail. God knows our thoughts and our words and will judge each person according to his deeds. Find out what could disqualify you for eternal life.
	Freedom from Sin - Sin is not what God planned his creation to do. God created us to serve him in true righteousness and holiness. Nevertheless, death came into the world through sin and now God has prepared a way for us to be delivered.

Faith and Belief:

Living Faith - Faith, belief or just good words...how are we to tell the difference and what should be evident in our lives if we have true living faith that is from God?

Sanctification

Spiritual Cancer - As Christians we are to be set apart for doing the will of God on this earth (i.e. sanctified). There is a cancer that is infiltrating and subverting God's truth and disqualifying people from being able to discern or carry out the will of God. Find out the cause of this cancer and find out the cure.

Worship:

True Worship - Those who worship the Father must worship Him in spirit and in truth. What is spirit and truth? What is true worship? True worship includes obedience.

Suffering:

The Sufferings of Glory - God's glory is revealed when we suffer according to God's will with patience and taking on the same mind of suffering and self denial as Christ had, means that we will be free from sin.

TRUE LOVE:

ETERNAL LIFE:
"Do not work for food that spoils, but for food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval.”
(John 6:27)

TO BE PERFECT IS TO BE A CHRISTIAN:
"Be perfect therefore, even as your Father in heaven is perfect."
(Matthew 5:48)

STOP SINNING:
"Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God--I say this to your shame."
(1 Corinthians 15:34)

SANCTIFICATION IN HOLINESS:
"But the path of the just is like the shining sun,that shines ever brighter unto the perfect day.
The way of the wicked is like darkness; they do not know what makes them stumble."
(Prov 4:18-19)

NOT BY FAITH ALONE:
"You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone."
(James 2:24)

ETERNAL SECURITY:
"Therefore, my brothers, be all the more eager to make your calling and election sure. For if you do these things, you will never fall, and you will receive a rich welcome into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.."
(2 Peter 1:10-11)
